If you are looking for unique, handcrafted gifts for your friends and family then you need to check out the Christmas Craft Show. Held every year from late November into early December, the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community is the largest group of independent artisans in the U.S.A.
If you've been to Gatlinburg then it is no surprise to you that the town is home of an amazing array of local shops where you can get anything from handcrafted wooden signs, plush dolls and even bath bombs.
7. Rent a Cabin
What better way to wake up Christmas morning then in one of Gatlinburg's incredible cabins. Even better if it snows!
6. Skiing & Snowboarding at Ober Gatlinburg
Starting approximately around mid-December (depending on the weather) Ober Gatlinburg opens up its slopes for skiing and snowboarding. They also offer lessons for you first timers!
5. Gatlinburg Winter Magic
Gatlinburg has been lighting up the town for the holidays since 1989!
4. Trolley of Lights
But let's say you don't like walking. Do you like trolleys? Of course you like trolleys. Who doesn't?
3. Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade
Held every year at the beginning of December, the Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade is one of the must see events in Gatlinburg and a great way to kick off the holiday season!
2. Sweet Fanny Adams
Mistletoe and Malarky is everything you love about Sweet Fanny Adams with a Christmas flair! This year they'll be presenting classic holiday songs, the world's shortest version of "A Christmas Carol" and their world famous Paper Dance!
1. New Year's Eve Ball Drop
Every year thousands gather around the Gatlinburg Space Needle to celebrate the New Year by enjoying their magnificent firework show and the traditional ball drop! And...it's FREE!
And don't forget that Impossibilities is also located at the Gatlinburg Space Needle. We're looking forward to this year's ball drop and we hope you make Impossibilities part of your celebration!
