About the Master Mentalist Erik Dobell

I am Tennessee based Mentalist and Magician originally from upstate New York.

I fell in love with magic around 15 years ago in Ithaca, New York and have had the unbelievable opportunity to be a professional entertainer and share my passion with the world.

Past clients include Macy's, Goodyear and the NFL with a few trips to South Korea thrown in for good measure. I keep busy by creating videos, writing blogs and performing over 200 shows a year in Impossibilities at the Iris Theater. And that's not including offsite shows for corporate events, private parties, and charity.

If you don't know what a Mentalist is, you're not alone. Mentalism is a branch of magic that deals with the mind. So instead of sawing a woman into halves or making a coin vanish, I read minds and perform other feats normally associated with psychic abilities.

I'm not psychic but it's going to look and feel as if I am.

You can see me performing nightly in Impossibilities at the Iris Theater in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The Smoky Mountains is where I perform the most but I am interested in and available to work outside the state of Tennessee.
